Applicants are encouraged to submit their accommodations documentation well before the submission deadline. The accommodations submission process takes time: the Office of Attorney Admissions (“OAA”) will need time to review the initial submission, and applicants may need to provide additional information. Late submissions will NOT be considered for any reason, and requests for extensions that are not based on emergent or unforeseen disabilities will likely not be granted.
The OAA will make every effort to review accommodations documentation submission within 14 days of the applicant’s complete submission.
If the initial submission is deemed incomplete or insufficient, the OAA will provide a Notice of Incomplete to the applicant via email. The applicant must comply with the Notice of Incomplete by the deadline specified in the letter.
If the initial submission is deemed complete and sufficient, the OAA will provide a Notice of Determination to the applicant via email. The applicant has 14 days from the date of the Notice of Determination to appeal.
If the applicant appeals the Notice of Determination, the OAA will review the appeal documentation promptly on receipt and provide a Notice of Appeal Determination. If the exam is scheduled to commence within 28 days of the Notice of Appeal Determination, the Notice of Appeal Determination is final as to that scheduled exam, and no further appeals are allowed as to that scheduled exam.
If the applicant does not appeal the Notice of Determination, the OAA will send an Individualized Examination Schedule to the applicant before the exam.
