American Bar Association Center for Professional Responsibility – The Center for Professional Responsibility provides leadership in developing and interpreting standards and scholarly resources in legal and judicial ethics, professional regulation, professionalism and client protection.

Attorney General Consumer Complaints
The Colorado Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section investigates complaints against businesses.

Legal Regulation Committee
The Legal Regulation Committee approves the filing of formal complaints against attorneys, among other functions.

Attorneys’ Fund for Client Protection
The Colorado Attorneys’ Fund for Client Protection is a fund established by the Colorado Supreme Court to reimburse clients who suffer a loss of money or other property from the dishonest conduct of their attorney.

CBA Ethics Opinions
The Colorado Bar Association provides written advisory opinions on ethical issues. CBA ethics opinions are not binding on the Colorado Supreme Court, the Presiding Disciplinary Judge, the Legal Regulation Committee, or the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel and do not provide protection against disciplinary actions.
