The “Notice of Colorado Bar Exam Results” shows your MBE scaled score, written scaled score (Essay/PT combined) and your total Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) score. Click HERE for information on the grading and scoring process.
Bar Result Notices are available in your CiviCore application for only 45 days. To view your bar result notice, log in to your application account and go to your Candidate Home Page. Scroll down until you see the button stating, “Click here to print your recent exam result letter.” Bar result notices will not be mailed to you.
If you wish to receive a copy of your notice after 45 days from the original Bar Result Notice being issued, you must submit a Document Request through our website HERE.
Starting with the July 2025 Colorado Bar Exam, answer packets will be accessible only to those that were unsuccessful. Copies of exam answers will be available via ILG Exam360. Instructions on how to view the answers, questions, and analyses, will be uploaded into the applicant’s Admin Docs section of their online admissions application.
Answer packets are only available for 60 days. Unsuccessful candidates should immediately download and save their answers. They will not be available after 60 days.
Instructions on reapplying for the Colorado Bar Exam are located on our website at https://www.coloradolegalregulation.com/future-lawyers/infoforunsuccessfulbar/
Questions and Selected Answers from the Colorado exam pool for each exam administration will be posted to our website here approximately 45 days following an exam administration.
Copies of Multistate Essay and Performance Test questions and analyses are available directly from the National Conference of Bar Examiners. Please visit the NCBE Study Aids store at https://www.ncbex.org/study-aids/ for information regarding dates of availability and associated costs.
Those wanting to apply for the next bar exam immediately subsequent to the bar exam in which they did not receive a passing score are considered to be Re-Applicants and will submit a Re-Application. Withdrawn applications are NOT considered to be Re-Applications.
Re-Applications have a reduced filing fee of $410, in lieu of the full $710 exam application fee. Again, to be eligible for the reduced fee, you must have been unsuccessful on the most recent bar exam administered in Colorado. You will not receive a reduced fee if you do not apply for the subsequent bar exam – i.e., skipping an exam administration. Please review your Results Notice for the filing deadline for the next bar exam – the date listed on your Results Notice is unique for exam reapplicants submitting for the next scheduled exam.
The following steps must be completed to submit a Re-Application and receive the reduced fee:
* DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE FILING DEADLINE DATE to begin your reapplication and request the fee override. In the event an override is not requested in sufficient time for staff to process your request, you will be assessed the full fee, possible additional late filing fee, and/or miss the deadline altogether.
After you have submitted your Re-Application for the exam you will need to:
If you have forgotten your password, you must have access to the email account you have on file with OAA in order for you to retrieve/reset a password. OAA staff does not have access to passwords, nor provide information over the phone to applicants. If you are unable to access your online application account, please contact us at bleinfo@csc.state.co.us.
