2025: A Year of Expansion and Innovation for Colorado Lawyer Well-Being

As we look forward to 2025, the Colorado Lawyer Well-Being Recognition Program is gearing up to deepen its impact on the legal community across Colorado. Our goal is to make well-being resources, strategic guidance, and tailored programming more accessible to lawyers, judges, and legal professionals statewide. Here’s a preview of what’s to come:

  1. Enhanced Mental Health & Well-Being Resources
    In 2025, we are expanding our resource library to include a Speakers Bureau to provide Colorado’s legal employers with speakers, consultants, and experts to support well-being education and one-on-one support within legal organizations.
  2. Training Programs for Legal Leaders
    With a focus on sustainable organizational change, we’ll be offering our Leadership Cohort for organizational and department leaders on integrating well-being into their management practices. This includes training for future Chief Wellness Officers, as well as guidance for organizations without dedicated well-being roles on embedding wellness in everyday practices.
  3. Accessible Online Learning
    In collaboration with our partner CBA-CLE, we will host three Lunch & Learn CLE opportunities for those wanting to build healthy habits, develop resilience, and understand well-being law standards. These events are designed to be accessible for busy professionals while delivering impactful strategies. Save the dates of March 11, 2025, June 5, 2025, and December 10, 2025 from 12:00-1:00!
  4. Expansion of Colorado’s Only Symposium on Lawyer Well-Being
    Recognizing the importance of community, we will expand our symposium aimed at specific demographics within the legal field, including Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals, underrepresented groups, and rural practitioners. Save the date of September 11, 2025 for our annual symposium!
  5. Updated Colorado Pledge to Lawyer Well-Being
    Our pledges will be updated in 2025 to reflect the current landscape of lawyer well-being in Colorado. The pledges will help legal employers to shape their internal well-being programs and demonstrate the long-term impact on their employees’ quality of life and professional satisfaction.
