Re-Application for Testing Accommodations


General Information

Eligibility
Applicants who have previously been granted testing accommodations by the Office of Attorney Admissions (“OAA”) may be eligible to submit a Re-Application for Testing Accommodations ONLY IF there is:

  • no deviation or change in the applicant’s condition; AND
  • no change in the applicant’s functional impairment; AND
  • no change in the applicant’s requested accommodations.

If ALL THREE conditions are met, the applicant may submit the Re-Application Request Form. If one or more of the three above conditions are not met, applicants can still seek accommodations through OAA’s streamlined or standard application process. 

Also, applicants requesting an accommodation that has not been previously granted by the OAA for an exam administered by the OAA should follow the guidelines for requesting an accommodation, including applicants who previously received a requested accommodation from an other than the OAA.

Deadlines
Re-Application Request Forms are due according to the following schedule:

BAR EXAM
February Bar Examination – December 1st
July Bar Examination – May 31st
LLP EXAM
April LLP Examination – February 1st
November LLP Examination – September 1st

Submission Complete the Re-Application Request Form in its entirety.

The OAA reserves the right to request production of the original of any uploaded document.

Processing
After the submission of a Re-Application Form, the OAA will review it for eligibility and sufficiency as soon as reasonably possible. If the Form is accepted, you will receive a Notice of Determination shortly after your submission and Individual Examination Schedule prior to the exam.
